Naomi the Flower Girl
Naomi Thompson decided to become her own boss after
working as a florist for 10 years. The 26-year-old has named the shop, which is
based at York Terrace in North Shields, 'Naomi the Flower Girl'.
Naomi loved floristry but was working in a sweet shop when she decided to speak to The Business Factory about starting her own business.
Naomi said: "The Business Factory helped me register my business, and my adviser was very friendly and knowledgeable".
"I had absolutely no plans to open my own business but everything has fallen into place. Luckily, my boyfriend is a joiner and his company Elliot Joinery put in new walls and refurbished the shop front free of charge. It’s great that the shop is open again after years of lying derelict."
